Security Consultancy

The Security Industry Authority is in the process of canvassing opinion on the proposed licensing of Security Consultants, and have written to us and requested membership input.

Attached is an invitation from the SIA asking for your thoughts on:

Whether the development of licensing for security consultants should be delayed until 2010, at the earliest?

What security consultant activities, if any, pose a risk to the public and therefore require regulation (please provide supporting evidence)?
