Order! Order!
As you know, our new Chapter Patron, Baroness Angela Harris will be speaking to us on March 18th at our Spring Seminar.
She has a long standing interest in Policing and Security having chaired Police Authorities for many years and as a Deputy speaker of the House of Lords, she is used to keeping control of large, unruly bodies of people (mentioning no names, but you know who you are). We’d like to give her the opportunity to meet as many members as possible, so please try and make yourself available.
If that wasn’t reason enough to attend, we have a great line-up of speakers, a super venue (Bank of America) and great networking, with fellow security professionals. Non ASIS members are welcome to attend as guests.
What’s that? You want more?!
OK, we’ll give you more!
Former Deputy Home Secretary, the Rt. Hon. Alun Michael MP is hosting a reception for the Chapter at the House of Commons on the evening following the seminar. Partners and guests as very welcome to attend, so please join us in the evening: maybe you can put it on expenses!
And...
If that still isn’t enough for you we have arranged an informal St Patrick’s Day drink at the Telegraph pub in the city, meeting at 18:00 on 17th March. Apparently St Patrick ran the first mini cab firm in Ireland: I read somewhere that he drove all the snakes out of Ireland!
And...
If that isn’t enough, I know the names of some good therapists!
If you need some help making up your mind: here’s some advice for getting the results you want.
