Somewhere in the world today are the rotting remains of a man so evil that he struck terror into the people who lived in the richest and largest city in the world; the year was 1888, the City of London and a man they called . . . Jack the Ripper.
There was, and still is, a lot of controversy over who Jack the Ripper was. Could he have been a madman seeking a thrill from butchering East End prostitutes? Or was there more to it than meets the eye, a Doctor needing human organs for research, or a freemason tasked to rid the streets of blackmailing prostitutes, or were the Royal Family or the Royal Physician directly involved?
As the night sets in and the long shadows fall, we delve into the crooked, cobbled alleyways of Whitechapel to follow the Ripper's bloodstained trail of terror.
Join us on our walking tour (2 hours maximum) of Whitechapel to be surprised at what you will discover. Networking, beer and supper will be at Dirty Dicks on Bishopsgate to finish off your evening.
