Research Question from a Member

In summary I am trying to identify if any research has been undertaken into quantifying the costs of adding security back post contract as opposed to including it from the outset.

In my current work environment there have been a number of occasions where project managers have neglected to include 'security' into their proposed business models for contract bids (this has been through both deliberate and accidental omission).Subsequently, as part of the process of educating 'the board' and senior management, I am trying to piece together facts and figures from official sources to substantiate my theory that it is more cost effective to factor in security from the outset, than to have it as an 'add on'once a contract has commenced.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
