The UK has one of the highest examination pass rates in the world. A least 8 out of every 10 candidates who follow closely the Review Programme pass the examinations first time. As such, the number of CPP- and PSP-qualified security practitioners in the UK is growing at a rate of 20% a year.
This picture is being mirrored throughout the world, where the CPP has become the default “qualification” in advanced security management. Internationally, there are almost 7,000 CPP-certified security professionals, and a rapidly growing number of PSP-certified physical security specialists.
If you would like to discuss the value of certification in more detail, please email me. I shall be on leave for the next couple of weeks, but in the interim you may wish to download the Applicant Handbook and check your eligibility at www.asisonline.org/certification.
