AGM

AGM hosts were Reuters at Canary Wharf and sponsors were Esoteric Ltd, the event also featured exhibition stands from another eight companies: Advance Security, ARC Training International, Honeywell Security, Medscreen, Nedap Great Britain, Pelco UK and Universal Security Systems.

Although the committee was elected, largely unchanged (two new members have joined), Mike O'Neill (who organised today's event) has stepped down through work commitments and we thank him for his efforts over the years.

The most notable change was the news that Chapter Chairman Derek Webster is standing down after a year in office: a year earlier than he had planned. Derek's role at Postcom is coming to and end and he is not sure that he would be able to give the time needed to the Chairman's role in any new position. Derek has been an energetic and enthusiastic Chairman and we thank him and wish him well.

Barrie Millet was elected as chairman, with Mike Alexander as Vice Chairman.
