BROGAN and WEBSTER TEST CLEAR

Well, unlike the professional cyclist our pedalling duo, both of whom reach the same big '0' birthday next year, were found to have NO illegal substances in their systems. There was of course traces of other dubious liquids identified, these were suffered for medicinal purposes not energy assisting. So they have both been given the all clear to start their challenge next TUESDAY 11TH. 0730 from Twickenham Stadium.

Along with about 40 others they are all raising money for SCOPE, the cerebral palsy charity and aim to reach Paris on the Thursday evening. Chris and Derek will rest on Friday and link up with some other members of the UK security community, who took the sensible route, to watch England play S.Africa in the rugby world cup.

Between them Chris and Derek have raised over their target of £4k and they are both very grateful for all the support you have given. The total for the whole ride is in excess of £55k
