Professional Development Committee - Call for Volunteers!

Chapter 208 is putting together a new Professional Development Committee (PDC) and is looking for volunteers to serve for a period of up to two years.

The role of the PDC is to liaise with relevant internal (ASIS International) and external parties in order to provide leadership to the Chapter 208 Committee on continuing professional development and education.

If you have CPP or PSP certification, a Masters degree in security, or are actively working towards either, this is an excellent opportunity for you to assist in shaping the Chapter’s professional development strategy for the coming years.

The PDC will meet up to six times a year and you will be required to attend the meetings. Furthermore, most posts will require some additional work between meetings.

If you think you have the commitment, energy and “qualifications” to make a continued and sustained contribution to this process, please email the PDC Chairman David Cresswell at davidcresswell@arc-tc.com, after having read the detailed responsibilities and roles.
